Gadget Garage
In the Fall of 2007 I went back to school (again!) to get my Bachelor's Degree in Writing at the University of Tampa. One of the more intriguing classes I attended this semester was COM225 - Writing for Electronic Media, which was taught by Victoria Lim from Channel 8.
Our final exam was to create a 20 minute television show. Our group settled on a concept we called "Gadget Garage," which is basically "Monster Garages" meets "Modern Marvels."
The premise is that this corporation invents, tests, and markets innovative new products, and the show is kind of a behind-the-scenes look at how the process works.
The requirement was just to write the script for the show and read/perform it in class. Just to be different, we decided to actually make a 1 minute video intro to kick off our show.
